CleanZ does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Overview
This policy explains how CleanZ ("the app", "we") handles your information. CleanZ is a storage cleanup utility that helps you find and remove unnecessary photos and videos from your device. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
CleanZ does not collect any personal information. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no server that receives your data. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and we do not build a profile of you or your device.
Permissions the app requests
- Photos. Used to analyse your library so the app can show you what is taking up space, to save compressed copies back to your library, and to remove items you choose to delete. Your photos and videos are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
- Contacts. Requested only when you use the duplicate contacts feature, and used solely to compare entries on your device. Contact information is never uploaded.
Both permissions are optional. Your device asks for your consent before granting either, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time in the system Settings app.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your preferences and a summary of its most recent scan on your device so that it opens quickly. While compressing a photo or video it may create temporary working files, which are removed once the operation completes. This information stays in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. Because CleanZ collects no personal data, there is none to disclose.
Deleting photos and videos
You choose what to delete. When you confirm a deletion, your device moves the selected items to its Recently Deleted album, where they can be restored for 30 days before the system removes them permanently.
Children's privacy
CleanZ is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
